Why we should have edible plants at school

We should grow edible plants at school
There are many reasons why we should grow plants plants at school
Firstly so we can eat tomatoes,carrots,lettuce and silver beat.
Secondly so we can be healthy and so we can live longer.
Thirdly it taste yummy and it is very good 
Last reason is it very good because you can cook lots of yummy food.
That why we should grow edible plants at school. 

Crocodile

For reading my group made paper crocodiles but the other two did not finish but I finished because I started before them. I used green paper,glue stick and a white crayon

   I used the white crayon to make the eye and green paper to make the body and the head.
That's how I made my crocodile.

At toitoi we had a new book number 16 and there was a girl on the front cover.

My group was in room 10 and we read The Queen took over KFC I was our favourite book because it was so funny because we were laughing at the queens face and I was with Nim

At the end Aleki had to say thank you and we sang a song to toitoi and PWC it means Price Waterhouse and Cooper.

We had to make a tower out of 2 marshmallows and 12 spaghetti sticks.
My team had 40 cm and that means we won and the other teams got under 41cm.
After that we got to eat the marshmallow.

Hi my name is Krista and I go to Ruapotaka School I am in Room 7.  My teachers name is Mr Nevalangi. I am Tongan and Samoan and I have 1 brother and I live with 5 people and 2 pet cats. I like the colour pink, my favourite sport is soccer, my favourite food is dumplings and my favourite animals are cats and dogs. I am not good at timestables but I need to get better at division

Why we have to wear seat belts in the car

Why people wear seat belts in the car 

There are many people who wear seat belts in the car.

There are many reasons why we wear a seat belt in the car.

An important reason is so people don't get injured.

Another reason is so babies don't keep sliding side to side when they turn.

One reason is when you don't wear your seat belt you will not get pulled over by the police

Last reason is so people do not go to jail.

That is why people wear a seat belt

Why do people eat healthy

Heaps of people eat healthy nutritious food.

There are many reasons why people do this.

An important reason is so people can live a long happy life.

Another reason is so you can be safe.
One other reason is it is good for you and it is yummy.

Last reason is that vegetables like carrots and broccoli helps peoples bodies to be strong a lift heavy things.

So if everyone eats healthy food,we will get a population that will live a long happy life

Stop dropping,tossing,leaving garbage
Cause all the birds will do is harvist
Pick it up put it in the bin
Clean the environment with your kin
Bring a bucket and your sins
Do it with your heart within
Please help us clean our estuary
How much rubbish in our river it’s a mystery
All families and schools
Help us make our estuary into a pool
And you can never be a fool

Attention Whanau our Tamaki Estuary needs help!Please come to Dunkirk Reseme on Dunkirk Road, Panmure on Saturday 20th July 2019 between 10am to 11am. We want to clean our steam and reserve to make our water clean. please bring your whanau to help and bring a bucket for litter.

Turbo Touch

On Tuesday 2019 term 2 8th week we did turbo touch  for the very first time.

.First we had to put on our vest this is D.J helping Ocean put on his vest.We also learned what stop means in turbo touch S is start T is tap O is offside and P is pass.There were 3 teams blue,orange and red I was in the orange team with Sosefina,Iosefo and Solomon.

This is team red and blue  trying to make a goal  there is 5 people in 2 teams and 4 people in 1 team.Another information is girls are better than boy in turbo touch.

 This my team we are the team orange and I am the girl on the bark waiting to have a turn.

   On Tuesday June 18 2019 I went on youtube 3 times in 24 hours,mail 1 and google 6 times.I went on 3 things in one day and 10 times alltogether.

Kiwi Can

At Kiwi Can we did try not to touch the chair so this is how you play somebody has their eyes open and everyone else has their eyes close. So there was a girl and boy team and after that we had to go in partners one more thing you can't touch the chairs and you can't touch each other.I the girls line I am in the back being scared and I was giggling so much.

On Wednesday 28 2019 we went to Kelly Tarltons to look at the fishes and were learning and talking about the fish here are some pictures...



My favorite part was going on a school trip with my mum but I didn't partner up with my mum instead I partnered up with my teacher we looked at lots of stuff like olden day stuff they used to survive and looked at our favourite animal.

My Manakalani survey👌

I really really like the Manaiakalani Questionnaire because I like the nice questions. Some of the questions we did not know what it meant so we did it together with Mrs Collins. Sometimes some people were rushing. That is what I like about Manakalani, that Mrs Collins comes to help us every week.

On Tuesday Room 9 went to the Multi Purpose room for
Kiwi Can.We did two brilliant games like bang and change
places.Our teacher is Miss Tuia she is nice, friendly, smiley,
soft voice, helpful and playful.At Kiwi Can we learned about
integrity and honesty.After that we asked Miss Tuia lots of
question like how old she is, when your birthday and lots more
questions.Miss Tuia said we could play one more game at
the end of her lesson.The game was called GKQ is was a
question game so four people go up and miss Tuia ask a
question and if you, anwer you touch the ground and your
head and say your name.I answered 0 questions so it wasn’t
fun but I had fun.At the end my attitude was amazing and I
felt so excited and happy.
